Some more progress

As you can see there was a change in the cabinet, I added a sitting bench to it that also added more space for the equipment as the top is hinged in two sections that give access to the inside. I also started the trim work and got the lights added to the book shelves they are controlled with a dimmer, also got the glass shelves in place.

From this view you can see the 26 gal. tank that will be used in the making of the sump/refug. hopefully by the next time I post the cabinet will be done and stained and the sump/refug. done.

My plans for the plumbing

This is my plans for the plumbing of the tank, with the help from the LFS and some friends at some for the online reef forums I think that this is the way to go. As I am getting closer for the tank to set on its new home I cant what for it to get here. I talk to the LFS today and they seed that it was delayed do to the factory was behind on the custom built tank and it will not be shipped til the middle of the month.

Week 3

Here in week 3 I made some changes in my planes I will no longer be using all the wall timers but have chosen to go with a Neptune Aqua Controller Jr. to do the job that the timers where going to do.
I continued with the sheeting and built in a place to house the controller . I also ran the power from the breaker's to the outlets .
I started to install the DIY dosing pump that I will be using. I also started to label the layout as can be seen with the chosen placement of the RO/DI unit.
As you can see I cut out the opening that will allow air circulation and the power cords form the Lighting & power heads to the controller. I will be adding fans at the other end of the canape and vents on the top over the controller.
